et al fine food: Reviews & Ratings
An exceptional experience in one of the most unassuming locations ever. However this “unassuming” location is across from Sandy Hook, a short walk to the Henry Hudson Trail, and some of the most amazing meals from breakfast to dinner. If you’re in the area or traveling through, worth a stop. The coffee is really good here if you’re here in the am.
Came here to pickup my bib for the Twin Lights Ride. Got there a bit early and wanted to munch on something. Very low expectations but was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the meal. The chicken sandwich with fries was so tasty. Half expecting the meat to be dry but was totally the opposite. Fries was cooked perfectly!
We stopped by at et al for an early dinner. The food was beautifully presented and delicious, and the stylish atmosphere made it a great place to relax. The outdoor seating by the pond adds a special touch. Wish there were more kids’ options, but they still enjoyed our meal.
Great service and nice atmosphere. There’s outdoor seating with a pond and nice decorations. We ordered the Grilled chicken sandwich and the smash burger and the chicken was tender and well seasoned. The smash burger was juicy and not overcooked. They also have a selection of juices and smoothies to try. Highly recommend 9/10
We had a great experience at the restaurant outside on Saturday. • First time there, had an excellent roast beef sandwich, excellent deviled eggs, great staff, wonderful experience. • My understanding is they have great off-season specials on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, including half-price wines and food specials. As we left, we ordered some coffees from the market and I must have miscommunicated, and we ended up with iced coffees. We did not have time to have them make new ones for us before we got on the ferry. Nevertheless, they credited us back for the miscommunication, and that shows great customer service. We're really happy and will return.
Visited for the first time, while quite hungry, on a recent Sunday morning. Really nice that this little shop was open well before noon. A craft fair was taking place, but that was not what brought me to town. The potato salad was good, but would have been better to me if it did not have the sour cream. But, It was really fresh and made with quality ingredients. However, I had to spend $10 to get the only size available. It was pre-packaged in a sealed, sturdy container with a really nice label. Nice to be able to use the outdoor seating with good outdoor, wrought iron furniture, including a small umbrella over the table. If I knew it contained sour cream, I may not have purchased this product. But so good to see true, local homemade. Lots of mayo I think (unless it was also sour cream, come to think of it), and so there could have been a bit less of it.
Kind pricey I feel like they should have a lunch menu or somthing, but burger was good

With an exceptional menu, warm service, and an inviting ambiance, every visit is a memorable experience. Plus, leashed and friendly dogs are welcome! There are two pet-friendly areas: Indoors, the dining room exudes European charm with French-inspired decor, cozy colors, eclectic furnishings, and curated artwork. It features a few tables and a small bar. Outdoors, a covered patio and a garden section provide ample seating and a larger bar, perfect for enjoying a leisurely meal or cocktail in the fresh air. Open year-round, the indoor and outdoor spaces make this a great spot in any season. The menu is thoughtfully crafted with high-quality ingredients, reflecting a spirit of diversity and inclusion. We were lucky enough to meet the owner, Kim, whose vision and dedication shine through in every detail. In addition to the restaurant and bar, she has created a marketplace for fresh, grab-and-go items like coffee, juice, and gourmet bites. They also offer catering and host private events on-site. Hours: Open Tuesday–Saturday, starting at 8 AM for breakfast, with continued service through lunch, dinner, and cocktails.
